- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-17-G-0001 with Insitu Inc., 118 E. Columbia River Way, Bingen WA, for technical support required in support of the RQ-21A Blackjack shipboard testing of equipment interoperability and system interfaces. The period of performance will be approximately one (1) month. The estimated value of this Delivery Order is $30K. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Insitu, Inc. is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the RQ-21A Blackjack and, as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience and tooling to perform the efforts described herein, in order to satisfy the government's requirement. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, as only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the anticipated supplies needed herein is 336411. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.
