- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a delivery order under the Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-17-G-0002 for a 12-month base period, and four (4) 12-month option periods, to Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office on a sole-source basis for the V-22 Inlet Assembly Vane Improvement. The improvement will correct three known failure modes in the left and right hand Inlet Assemblies through production cut-in and retrofit kits. Bell-Boeing is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the V-22 Tiltrotor aircraft and is the only known source that possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise required to perform this effort. Also, Bell-Boeing is the only source that possesses the totality of engineering and technical data required to perform these efforts.
