29-- Dual Ignition Exciters Description(s): The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) is contemplating to procure the Services of the Line Items cited below for a FFP Requirements Contract for a base period of One Year with Four (4) One year options. 1. Total Line Item Quantity: L/I 0001 - 2925-01-206-5230nz FMS BEQ: 35 L/I 0002 - OVER AND ABOVE L/I 0003- DATA - L/I 1001 - 2925-01-206-5230nz FMS BEQ: 35 L/I 2001 - 2925-01-206-5230nz FMS BEQ: 35 L/I 3001 - 2925-01-206-5230nz FMS BEQ: 35 L/I 4001 - 2925-01-206-5230nz FMS BEQ: 35 9. This requirement is for the overhaul of the Dual Ignition Exciters in accordance with a performance work statement. Sources must be qualified prior to award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARS). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. This item is export controlled. IAW FAR 5.207 (c) (15) (ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
