- Information for Property #1 at 404 E 2nd Street, Poplar, MT Information for Property #2 at 406 B Street W, Poplar, MT THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors. The United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development (RD), is currently seeking a SMALL BUSINESS concern to provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform demolition and disposal of all materials for 2 single-family homes in Poplar, MT. Information on both properties is provided as attachments. Both homes were built prior to 1978. The contractor shall be responsible for demolishing both properties, including handling and disposing of all materials in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. 1) Property #1 (404 E 2nd Street, Poplar, MT 59255) has not been inspected for lead-based paint or asbestos. 2) Property #2 (406 B Street West, Poplar, MT 59255) has been inspected for lead-based paint, but not asbestos. Lead-based paint is present. This property also has a lead pipe from the City water main to the home that must be removed. All contractors, who consider themselves qualified small business concerns interested in providing these services are invited to submit the information requested below. Electronically submit your response to Marsha Harris at marsha.harris@mt.usda.gov no later than 10:00 a.m. June 14, 2017. Responses should include: 1) Business name and address; 2) Name of company representative and their business title; 3) Type of Business (i.e. small business (SB), 8(a), HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned SB, and economically disadvantaged women-owned SB and women-owned SB; 4) A description of the contractor's experience demolishing and disposing of all materials. 5) Any questions the contractor has concerning the procurement. The responses will be used as market research to help determine the acquisition method utilized by the Government for this requirement. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to be eligible for award. Interested contractors not already registered in the SAM database are highly encouraged to do so http://www.sam.gov. Registration in SAM is free. This sources sought is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for quote. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary.
