- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to acquire four Acoustic Transponding Release units. The acoustic release is used for the recovery of sensors deployed in shallow water. The acoustic release is controlled by electrical signals received from the Teledyne Benthos UDB-9400 Universal Deck Box controller unit in conjunction with a Low Frequency dunking transducer. The acoustic release features an enhanced electronic architecture to ensure more reliable recovery. The acoustic release must meet all the requirements set forth in the Salient Characteristics.
