Description

This is a market survey for the Repair of ASR-11 Rotary Couplers, Part numbers RJ6940/01 and RJ6940/02 IFS Part Number 015126662. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the request for quote. Therefore, any cost associated with the request for quote submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. At this time the nature of this procurement is to Single Source this procurement to Sivers Lab, Torshamngatat, 30F P.O. Box 1134, SE-164 22 Kista, Sweden. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from qualified firms, capable of providing the evaluation and repair services as described in the attached DRAFT statement of work. For the modification of Sivers rotary coupler model 6940/01 to 6940/02 and the repair of Sivers rotary coupler model 6940/02 vendor must utilize pre-established and certified modification and repair procedures, specifications and piece parts proprietary to Sivers Lab. The FAA currently doesn ™t have any access to the proprietary information related to the modification and repair of these rotary coupler models. Because Sivers Lab, Torshamnsgatan, 30F P.O. Box 1134, SE-164 22 Kista, Sweden, is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the model 6940/01 and model 6940/02 and owner of all associated proprietary data related to the modification of 6940/01 to model 6940/02 and the repair of model 6940/02, any vendor should contact Sivers Lab to request access to proprietary information. And vendor must be able to prove vendor has given access to proprietary data. Capability Statement from interested vendors must include information from Sivers stating vendor has been given access to proprietary data. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form. Attached are the DRAFT Statement of work and the FAA Business Declaration Form. Please respond by reviewing these items, submitting a completed, signed capability statement, and a filled-out and signed copy of the Declaration form (please submit electronically, email to address below).
