Description

This is a market survey for the Repair/Rebuild of ASR-9 Transmit-Receive (TR) Limiters, NSN 5960-01-520-3540, Manufacturer Part VDS-1706. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the request for quote. Therefore, any cost associated with the request for quote submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. At this time the nature of this procurement is to Single Source this procurement to CommunicationS and Power Industries (CPI), Palo Alto, CA. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from qualified firms, capable of providing the evaluation and repair services as described in the attached DRAFT statement of work. CPI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the TR Limiters. The TR Limiter is a proprietary product. The FAA currently doesn ™t have any access to the proprietary information related to the repair/rebuild of the TR Limiter. Because CPI is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and owner of all associated proprietary data related to the repair/rebuild, any vendor should contact CPI to request access to proprietary information. And vendor must be able to prove vendor has given access to proprietary data. Capability Statement from interested vendors must include information from CPI stating vendor has been given access to proprietary data. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form. Attached are the DRAFT Statement of work and the FAA Business Declaration Form. Please respond by reviewing these items, submitting a completed, signed capability statement, and a filled-out and signed copy of the Declaration form (please submit electronically, email to address below). Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
