- Description
- This acquisition is set-aside for Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business in accordance with FAR Part 19. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not currently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The NAICS for this project is 236220 and the small business size standard is $36.5M. This construction project is to renovate the 307th BW headquarters on Barksdale AFB. This project includes a 30,000 sq. ft. renovation for the BAFB Wing Headquarters (B6803). Project will consist of replacement of existing finishes and ABA Improvements. New Briefing Room seating, and stair handrail improvements will also be a part of this project. This building is occupied and phasing of construction will be required. The period of performance will be 365 calendar days. More specifics will be found in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control, and supervision necessary to fulfill the requirement at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, in accordance with the project statement of work. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 15 June 2017. The Request for Proposal will close 30 Calendar days after RFP release. The Performance Period for this project is 365 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed may be issued within 30 days after award of the solicitation. The Request for Proposal will be available by electronic transmission only at www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; see webpage www.sam.gov. All proposals shall be valid for 180 calendar days after the Request for Proposal closing to be considered responsive. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
