- Attachment 01 - Naval S&T Expo 2017 Fact Sheet 25 MAY 2017 NOTE : This is a duplicate of Special Notice N00014-17-SN-0001 (https://www.fbo.gov/spg/DON/ONR/ONR/N00014-17-SN-0001/listing.html) intended to bring attention of the event to small businesses. NOTE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES : The Director of the Navy Small Business program as well as the Director of the Office of Small Business Programs have been invited to speak at this event. The 2017 Naval Future Force Science & Technology (S&T) EXPO is the Office of Naval Research's (ONR) premier event. Participants will hear from technical experts and senior naval leaders including the new Chief of Naval Research, RADM David Hahn, and learn more about status of key programs and new research opportunities. Come to learn more about his vision and new priorities guiding the Naval Research Enterprise. This event provides an excellent opportunity for Department of Defense, Naval leaders and ONR Program Officers and other Acquisition Officials to communicate needs, opportunities and exchange ideas with you. Join us as we: - Introduce and raise awareness of Naval research priorities and portfolios - Present challenges and enable discussion of potential research solutions - Learn from and share new ideas with participants to broaden our world-wide partnership base As a participant, you will enjoy access to one-on-one Pitch-A-Principal appointments, live demos, poster sessions and exhibiting to include: Tech Talks and specialty room sessions featuring--small business, current research, STEM, disruptive technology initiatives, international S&T programs, Naval Research Lab initiatives, Marine Corps Warfighting Lab topics and doing business with ONR, ONR-Global, Naval Research Laboratory and employment opportunities.
