Request for Quote# N62649-17-Q-0071 Planned Due Date: 10 July 2017 Procurement: Keel Block Requirement Location: Yokosuka and Sasebo, Japan Period of Requirements: 1 August 2017 or award date, whichever later through 31 July 2018 with four (4) option years Planned RFQ Issue Date: 9 June 2017 This is a synopsis of pre-solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The NAICS code is 327331. This is a competitive, unrestricted action among sources duly authorized to operate and do business in JAPAN. The Government anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order contract to the company whose quote with the lowest price that meets requirements. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards if deemed advantageous to the Government. This acquisition is the purchase of Keel Block for U.S. Ship Repair Facility-Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) Yokosuka. Anticipated items are as per attached file. Interested parties are encouraged to register at https://asia.neco.navy.mil/ prior to downloading the solicitation.
