Description
I.SUMMARY The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific, announces an Industry Day For Planned U.S. Funded Military Construction Work In Australia. The Industry Day will be held on June 21, 2017 and is planned to be a full-day event. The objective is to provide a brief overview of NAVFAC Pacific ™s business processes as it relates to US Department of Defense (DoD) Military Construction (MILCON) projects. II.DATE, LOCATION, REGISTRATION, LOGISTICS WHEN: June 21, 2017, 0800-1700 ACST Check-in begins at 0730 and the first presentation starts at 0800. WHERE: The Grand Ballroom at Hilton Hotel Darwin, 32 Mitchell Street HOW: Pre-registration for the Industry Forum is mandatory. Pre-registration ends June 15, 2017. Parties interested in attending the event must register at https://northernaustralia.nt.gov.au/events. Late registration and walk-in requests will not be permitted. No one will be permitted without preregistration on file. III.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION To ensure a most effective Australia Industry Day, submit your written questions via email to Mr. Ross Shimabuku, ross.shimabuku@navy.mil by 2:00 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time, on June 7, 2017. We will do our best to address your written questions at the Industry Day. Lunch will NOT be provided. This announcement is not a contract, a request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Navy will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
