- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) at the Idaho State Office intends to negotiate with only one source under DHS Security Tactical Contracts, Motorola Solutions, to acquire 15 radios with accessories. This action is authorized by and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that the only responsible source capable of satisfying the agency's requirements is Motorola Solutions. A Limited Source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The contractor shall provide portable radios with accessories. Motorola radios are the most versatile trunking radio technology and is the only radio that is able to communicate with all of the trunking systems that the various co-operators utilize in the state of Idaho. The estimated value of this acquisition is less than $82,000.00. No Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued and no response will be made to letter or telephone requests for copies of this solicitation. This is not a request for competitive quotes, but serves as a procurement notice to fulfill public posting requirements in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1). NAICS code 334220 applies.
