- Vendors interested in this acquisition must meet the criteria for Federal Supply Code (FSC) 1005, Weapon Systems, Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3489, Ordnance and Accessories, Nec., and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 332994, Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing..50 Caliber Barrel Liners, must be produced in accordance with the controlled Government provided drawing 7793144, available at the time of the solicitation. In order to view or access the drawings, all vendors shall be registered in the Joint Certification Program database at https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/jcp/Default.aspx. The controlled drawing is available now and will also be available at the time of solicitation issuance using the following link: https://www.fbo.gov/fedteds/W9098S17LINER The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to issue this Request for Quote (RFQ), W52P1J-17-T-0097, on a competitive basis. The anticipated release date for the solicitation is on or about 02 June 2017 with a closing date approximately 15 days from the date of issuance. This acquisition will be solicited on a competitive firm-fixed price basis among eligiblel Businesses. This will not be a set-aside and will be procured on an unrestricted basis. This procurement is for.50 Caliber Barrel Liners that are used in the production efforts of the M85 Machine Gun. The proposed resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The current requirement is for 40 Each. The end user is the Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center located in Rock Island, IL. FOB Destination. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management in order to be eligible for award. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
