- Major items of work shall include the following: Repair Upper Chesapeake Range Front (Structure 8595), consisting of removing, rehabilitating, and reinstalling the existing boat landing platform at a higher elevation; modifying the existing access ladder/cage to accommodate the raised platform; removing and reinstalling overboard rungs; partially recoating the monopole and main deck stringers; replacing the davit crane; and repairs to miscellaneous appurtenances. Repair Shad Battery SHL Range Front (Structure 8910), consisting of removing, rehabilitating, and reinstalling the existing boat landing platform at a higher elevation; modifying the existing access ladder/cage to accommodate the raised platform; removing and reinstalling overboard rungs; replacing main deck handrails; partially recoating the monopile; replacing the floor in the fiberglass battery building with new plywood and vinyl tile; replacing the davit crane; and repairs to miscellaneous appurtenances. Work Item #1: Repair Pooles Island North Range Front (Structure 8695), consisting of removing, rehabilitating, and reinstalling the existing boat landing platform at a higher elevation; modifying the existing access ladder/cage to accommodate the raised platform; removing and reinstalling overboard rungs; replacing main deck handrails; partially recoating the monopile; replacing the davit crane; and repairs to miscellaneous appurtenances. Work Item #2: Repair Pooles Island South Range Front (Structure 8555), consisting of removing, rehabilitating, and reinstalling the existing boat landing platform at a higher elevation; extending the existing access ladder/cage to accommodate the raised platform; replacing the personnel access barrier; removing and reinstalling overboard rungs; replacing boat landing handrails; partially recoating the monopile; replacing the davit crane; and repairs to miscellaneous appurtenances. Work Item #3: Repair Pooles Island North/South Range Rear (Structure 8560/8700), consisting of removing, rehabilitating, and reinstalling the existing boat landing platform at a higher elevation; modifying the existing access ladder/cage to accommodate the raised platform; removing and reinstalling overboard rungs; partially recoating the monopile; replacing two davit cranes; and repairs to miscellaneous appurtenances.
