Description
RFQ for NNX17625925Q1 One (1) Radio Frequency RF-over-Fiber C-Band Uplink SYSTEM that operates across the aeronautical telemetry frequency band of 5100 MHz to 5250 MHZ and inputs a nominal 500 mWatts (27dBm ±3 dB) into an existing solid state power amplifier. The system shall be comprised of components meeting desired specifications as follows; -An RF-over-Fiber Master Unit capable of a accepting nominally up to 10 mWatts of input power to operate at any modulation scheme. -An RF-over-Fiber Remote Unit capable of delivering at least 500 milliWatts (27dBm ±3 dB). -SC/APC connectorized Single Mode 1310nm UL / 1550nm DL Fiber transmission line of at least 400ft in length. -Appropriate Signal conditioning (Limiters, Low Pass, and/or Band Pass Filters) to condition signals to the amplifier stages to condition and block unwanted frequencies and harmonics. -A signal amplifier with excellent linearity up to 27dBm (0.5W) w/ 10dB PAPR for the Power Amplifier. -Spurious Emissions [WCDMA 1FA] shall be limited to -30dBc at 100KHz RBW, (±2.5MHz) at 27dBm/total at the Remote Unit output port. -Intermod Distortion shall be limited to -40dBc at 27dBm/two tone at the Remote Unit output port. -The Operational Frequency shall encompass the range from 5100 MHz to 5250 MHZ with system Noise Figure Less than 20dB at 50dB gain with Frequency Stability on the order of ±0.01PPM. -Monitoring and control between the Master Unit and the Remote Unit RU including amplifier status. -Standardized Rack-mountable enclosures for the Master Unit and appropriate enclosure for the Remote Unit capable of mounting and operating in the radome at the remote antenna. -The RF inputs and outputs of the system should be nominal 50 Ohms impedance, with operational Voltage Standing Wave Ratio not to exceed 1.5:1 VSWR. -The system shall be properly connectorized with type SMA female inputs and type N female outputs. Bench checkout cables for the various input and output ports is desirable. -The system should be capable of being powered with 24 volt to 28 volt DC power supplies at max 3.5 Amps and/or standard AC voltage supply. -The system should be able to operate continuously within an enclosed 3-meter radome and thermal environments from -10 degrees C to +70 degrees C.
