- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), intends to enter into a firm fixed price contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for SupraVistA licenses to SupraVistA Medical DSS, LLC, 2709 Jackson Pike, Bidwell, Ohio 45614-9361. This procurement is for three SupraVistA, average size facility licenses for VA Medical Centers located in Augusta, Georgia; Palo Alto, California; and Spokane, Washington. SupraVistA is a Cognitive Support System that is specifically designed to complement Veterans Health Administration s core clinical systems. The purpose of the SupraVistA software is to capture and complement the already existing data capabilities of the Computerized Patient Record System ensuring providers have comprehensive information to accurately assess patients. The Statutory Authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.302-1 entitled, Only Once Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will satisfy Agency Requirements. Delivery of the software shall be within 30 days after receipt of contract with a 12-month warranty period. The task order also includes a 12-month option period for the renewal of the licenses and an optional task for up to 10 additional licenses. Commercial acquisition procedures will be used. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 511210 and size standard is $38.5M employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement or proposal which shall be considered by VA. Any information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government.
