Description
HVAC SOW CNC Machine Operator SOW Business Questionnaire Solicitation Docs Solicitation Cover Ltr The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX, intends to issue solicitation RFQP04031700007 for the provision of HVAC and CNC Instructor Programs. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Bastrop located in Bastrop, Texas. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the lowest quote to the Government based on price related factors only. Each individual instructor will be required to have an extensive knowledge in teaching the areas related to HVAC and CNC Machine Operator, whichever applies. Both instructors shall instruct by lecture, demonstration, and project assignments. Both instructors shall develop and administrate classroom evaluation of the inmates/ students and submit grades in accordance with established education procedures similar to those in the community. Both instructors may, when applicable, allow advanced students to assist those students of lesser abilities. Both instructors must provide proof of either national or state certification for HVAC and CNC Machine Operator program, whichever applies. A session is defined as one hour. Both instructors shall provide six sessions per day, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Work hours will generally be between 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. These hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of FCI Bastrop. Neither instructor shall exceed 30 thirty (30) hours per week. Due to the nature of the correctional setting, delays in performance of work may be expected. Such delays may include, but are not limited to, inclement weather or security related issues. In the event of an institutional emergency, classes may be delayed or cancelled as necessary. The solicitation will be available on or about May 31, 2017 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about June 28, 2017. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government are advised that this future solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-5 (Apr 2005) for Commercial Items and System for Award Management (SAM). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the federal government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database at www.sam.gov. Contractors should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees DUNS number into the SAM database. The acquisition is Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 611519 with a small business size standard of $15 million.
