Description
Revised technical drawing DWG 659-E550-01 Fabrication Specs. Errors in material specs discussed in Q&A section have been corrected. Amendment 0003 to solicitation. Amendment adds revised drawing and extends response deadline. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires a contractor to fabricate and deliver two (2) new dredge spuds, used to anchor the USACE Dredge Goetz during dredging operations. Delivery shall be FOB Destination - Fountain City, WI no later than 7 weeks after date of contract (7 wks ADC). Spuds shall be 37.75 inches (+/- 0.125") in diameter, and 48 feet in length, with lifting eye at the top. Estimated weight is 20,330 lbs each. Spuds shall be fabricated in accordance with specifications in attached drawing 659-E550-01, and sand blasted and painted IAW 816-B406-01. Spuds shall be delivered ready for installation, except for hard surface welding on spud tips, which will be completed by Government personnel. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 332710, Machine Shops, with a size standard of 500 employees. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be fully registered in SAM, including a current FAR & DFARS Representations & Certifications (Reps & Certs) report on profile, prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov. Amendment 0001 to the solicitation changes the delivery date to 7 weeks ADC, and adds a Question & Answer section, with responses to questions received. Amendment 0002 to the solicitation adds additional questions and responses to the Question & Answer section. The responses include an advisory on procedures, and an important correction of a size discrepancy in the technical drawing. Amendment 0003 to the solicitation changes the response date and adds a revised technical drawing, with the changes included in the Q&A section of Amendment 2. Please acknowledge receipt of all amendments when submitting your quote. The preferred method of acknowledging receipt is to submit a signed copy of the first page of each amendment.
