- Description: The National Park Service has a requirement for the following project. If you are interested, please submit your detailed capabilities in WRITING to demonstrate same or similar experience. This is not a request for proposal or invitation to bid. There is no bid package, solicitation, specification or drawings available with this announcement. Response is strictly voluntary and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought announcement or any follow-up information requests. Your email capability information MUST be 6 pages or less (including bonding letter) and be SPECIFIC to the description provided. Provide customer point of contact information including email and telephone (i.e. contracting officers, project managers). Provide description of past projects (preferably same or similar past projects), contract numbers, dollar amounts, time frame, duration, location and any other pertinent information. You must also provide a letter from your bonding company verifying your bonding levels per contract and total. Clearly identify your socioeconomic status: (8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small). All firms need to be actively registered in SAM prior to award. Your response is due no later than 01:00 p.m. Alaska Time, 19 June 2017. Please note there is no additional information to be provided at this time. PROJECT TITLE: King Salmon Float Plane Dock Rehabilitation PMIS 186591A DESCRIPTION: This project consists of rehabilitation Katmai float plane dock and replacement of the ramp system on the Naknek River in King Salmon, Alaska. Specifically, the work consists of replacement of ramp, installation of new dock pilings, in river anchors and extending the dock and associated utility system 30 feet further into the river. King Salmon, Alaska is located on the Alaska Peninsula in western Alaska and is accessible by commercial air travel, or seasonally by barge. There is no overland access to King Salmon and it is not connected to any highway system. The climate is maritime, with moderate winters and cool summers. NAICS Code: 237990 Dollar Magnitude: $250,000 to $400,000 Period of Performance is Date of award estimated Aug 2017 to September 2018 Project skills and/or experience that firms are to address in their statement of interest: 1. Work in National Parks, or similar public use areas, during high visitation periods. 2. Demonstrated capability and successful performance of pile driving in a remote area without road access to metropolitan Alaska using vibratory pile driving technology. 3. Protection of natural environment during construction. 4. Management of multi-discipline projects. 5. Completion of projects that are resent and relevant in nature to this project, complying with the latest Federal and State standards
