- Purpose: The Army Contracting Command (ACC) New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of the Program Manager Office Towed Artillery Systems (PM-TAS) to identify current available sources to provide support the M777A2 Howitzer. Description: The US Government is contemplating a requirement in which a contractor shall provide 642 unique spare parts and engineering efforts to support life cycle sustainment of the M777A2. Upon request, a list of parts will be provided. No drawings will be released as part of this sources sought. Interested vendors must submit the following information in order to determine their ability to meet the requirement: 1. Interested vendors shall submit information regarding similar types of efforts, on similar magnitudes of scale (at least $5M in engineering effort and $5M in spare parts) sustainment activities. Interested vendors shall include successes and failures as well as lessons learned. Interested vendors shall also indicate how successful past experience will allow for successful performance in the sustainment in the LW155. 2. Interested vendors shall submit relevant technical capabilities demonstrating any previously handled sustainment of weapon systems of similar size and complexity and include a focus on artillery experience. Interested vendors shall include successes and failures as well as lessons learned. 3. Interested vendors shall submit relevant information pertaining to the facilities necessary to perform this effort. If current facilities do not exist, interested vendors shall discuss their plan to obtain the requisite facilities. 4. Interested vendors shall submit information regarding a similar management structure or previously managed contract with multiple logistical tasks involving the management of a supply chain for various complexities. The Offeror shall include a detailed discussion of the Offeror's plans to establish and manage Performance Based Agreements with Government agencies to meet LW155 Warfighter performance metrics which will be evaluated.
