Description
Sources Sought Notice/Contractor Survey Part I. Acquisition Information DLA Aviation is formulating acquisition strategy for a follow-on contract(s) to existing contract(s) with Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems (MABS) CAGEs 0B9R9 (Akron, OH), 21849 (Gardena, CA), and K1037 (United Kingdom). DLA anticipates a 5 year base period and a 5-year option period, for a total period of performance of 10 years. All items to be placed on contract are sole source to MABS and the acquisition will be conducted under FAR part 6.302-1. There are 474 NSNs in the initial population (attached spreadsheet). Additional items found to be sole source to MABS may be added by contract modification. Evaluation of offers is anticipated to be line-by-line (not all-or-none). Should any firm wish to express an interest in this acquisition, it may do so by use of this survey, to the point of contract at Part IV below. Part II.
