Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Naval Air Warfare Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract for FilConn Machined Aluminum Box with Banding Platform Connector Kit and Assembly Kit (part number 49000-9001) for the LAU-118 (V) 1/A Missile Launcher used on the F/A-18 and EA-6B aircraft in accordance with NAVAIR Engineering Change Proposal under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. It is the intent of the Department of the Navy to award as a sole source contract to FilConn Incorporated, 3324 N. San Marcos Pl, Chandler, AZ 85225. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Response(s) to this notice may be made via email or on company letterhead: include company's name, point of contact, address, phone number, DUNS number, Tax ID, business size, this source number, and a capability statement. All responses must be received by June 16, 2017. Responses may be emailed to Melody Baron at melody.baron@navy.mil. If no written response is received within fifteen (15) days, a contract may be issued without further notice.
