Description
Industry Day Info: The U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center, Product Manager Force Sustainment Systems (PM (O-5) FSS), Natick, MA is planning on conducting an Industry Day as a follow on to the PM (O-5) FSS Army Standard Family of Rigid Wall Shelter (ASF-RWS) Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information (RFI) regarding industry's interest and capability to design and build multiple variants of ASF-RWS. This Industry Day is part of the market research intended to assist the government in developing future procurement strategies. The ASF-RWS will be designed to replace existing or legacy RWS's. PM (O-5) FSS invites vendors to participate in this Industry Day, which will be hosted at the Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center (NSRDEC), Natick, MA on Tuesday 27, June 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (EDT). The Industry Day will consist of an ASF-RWS overview briefing, shelter display, and Question and Answer (Q&A) open forum. Registration for this event can be accomplished via the "Register for Industry Day" button which can be found by accessing the ASF-RWS Industry Day Info Link listed below under "additional information". Registration for the Industry Day will be open at 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Tuesday 23, May 2017 and close at 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Friday 2, June 2017. A period for online questions will be open for questions to be submitted from 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Wednesday 23, May 2017 through 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Thursday 6, July 2017. The response date selected in this FBO notice only refers to the response date for the online question submittal. All other response dates are specifically listed within the important date section of the posting. **Terms** The Industry Day agenda shall consist of an ASF-RWS overview briefing 8:00-8:45 a.m. (EDT), preliminary Q&A open forum 8:45-9:30 a.m. (EDT), shelter display from 9:30-10:30 a.m. (EDT), and wrap up Q&A session 10:30-11:30 p.m. (EDT). All questions regarding the Industry Day shall be submitted online by clicking the "Submit Questions & Comments" button on the Industry Day info page via the link provided in the additional information below. It is anticipated that the answers to questions during the Industry Day shall be posted via attachment to the FBO posting and on the Industry Day Info Site on or about 19 July 2017. The ASF-RWS overview briefing and Q&A open forum shall be held in BLDG. 3 (Research Bldg), R-301. The shelter display shall consist of three legacy RWS items, listed below. The Shelter Display will take place in the QUAD area between BLDG 3 & 4. 1. Expandable ISO Shelter 2. LMS (S-788) 3. S-280 Acceptable Topics for Discussion during Q&A Open Forum: 1. The general purpose of announcing upcoming business opportunities; 2. Any information that has already been made accessible to the public or is otherwise being made available to all potential offerors; 3. Historical information about the general nature or scope of the ASF-RWS development effort. Unacceptable Topics for Q&A Open Forum: 1. Proprietary or confidential business information of incumbent contractor(s) or other business entities; 2. Privacy Act protected information such as incumbent contractor employees' personal data; 3. Trade Secrets Act protected information; 4. Speculation on what the Government might be looking for in proposals. **Conditions** To attend the Industry Day on Base: All U.S. visitors 18 years of age and older must be vetted prior to entry to NSSC. All U.S. participants must complete attachment 0001 "NSSC Visitor Request" form and submit it to USAG Natick Police by emailing the request form encrypted to "USARMY Natick SSC IMCOM Atlantic List NATI PoliceVisitorAccess" at email address usarmy.natick.imcom-atlantic.list.natipolicevistoraccess@mail.mil. Alternatively, this form can be faxed to (508) 233-6293. Attachment 0001 can be found on the industry day website. Foreign visitors (both official and unofficial) must be vetted through the appropriate Foreign Disclosure Officer based on the organization he/she is coming to see. All foreign visitors must complete attachment 0002 "Foreign National Visitor Form" and submit it to the Contact Officers for the industry day. The Primary Contact Officer for this industry day will be the technical lead and the Alternate Contact Officer will be the Contracting Officer.
