Brand Name Justification General Information Document Type: Combined Synopsis / Solicitation Solicitation Number: W912JB-17-T-8000 Project Name: Clear-Com Headsets Classification Code: 59 - Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components NAICS Code: 334290 - Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing Contracting Office Address Department of the Air Force, Air National Guard, Battle Creek ANG, 146 Sabre Ave, Battle Creek, MI, 49037, UNITED STATES Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) against solicitation number W912B-17-T-8000 for a commercial items acquisition for the purchasing of headsets at the 110 th Attack Wing, Battle Creek, MI. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-095 effective 13 January 2017. (iv) The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Number is 334290 - Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing, Small Business Size Standard 750 Employees. (v) The proposed acquisition consists of the following Contract Line Items Numbers (CLINs): To be considered RESPONSIVE, offeror's must address ALL CLINs. (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired. CLIN 0001: QTY: 60 EA, CCC-802006 Headsets Low cross talk headset: Low Crosstalk Single-muff headset provides >100db of acoustic isolation between mic and headphone, 10ft straight cord, split mic/headphone connectors (XLR-3M/XLR-3F), used in conjunction with CCC-803001-1 (ISO-1) CLIN 0002: QTY: 20 EA, CC-300-X4 Headsets Single-ear standard HS XLR-4F: Single enclosed ear headset with superior audio quality and on/off switch in gooseneck microphone boom, includes HS-ES ear sock and headset bag - field removable four-pin female XLR for standard Clear-com connection. CLIN 0003: QTY: 20 EA, CC-26K-X4 Headsets Single-ear light headset XLR-4F: Single open ear lightweight headset four-pin female XLR for standard Clear-Com connection. NOTE: All CLINS are BRAND NAME with justification included with this solicitation. No used, refurbished, off-brand or comparable will be considered. Vendors must be able to supply ALL products, multiple contracts will not be awarded. SAM Registration: All offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), if you are not registered in (SAM), an award CANNOT be made to your company. You may register electronically at http://www.sam.gov. Note to offerors, The Central Contractor Registration (CCR) has been retired and replaced with SAM. In all instances where CCR is referenced you must refer to SAM. (vii) Reservation dates are established in each contract line item, and shall not be altered or adjusted after contract award without approval from the Contracting Officer. (viii) Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
