- The purpose of this amendment is to make a correction to paragraph 1 PURPOSE stating: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain industry comments on the draft Statement of Work (SOW), to determine interest in participation, and to determine the availability of potential small businesses (e.g., 8(a) business development participants, HUBZone small business concerns, service disabled veteran-owned small business concerns, and economically disadvantaged women owned small business (EDWOSB) concerns and women-owned small business (WOSB) concerns) that can provide services for the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center requirement and it s remote sites under the Department of Defense Joint Medical Facilities in the National Capital Area/National Capital Region. Paragraph 1 should state: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain industry comments on the draft Statement of Work (SOW), to determine interest in participation, and to determine the availability of potential small businesses (e.g., 8(a) business development participants, HUBZone small business concerns, service disabled veteran-owned small business concerns, and economically disadvantaged women owned small business (EDWOSB) concerns and women-owned small business (WOSB) concerns) that can provide services for 15 VA facilities that are dispersed across the country.
