Description

Service Area Office (SAO) - East intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Biodex Medical Systems, Inc., 20 Ramsey Road, Shirley, NY, 11967-4704, to purchase two (2) NxStep Unweighing/ Balance Systems for the Atlanta VA Medical Center. The systems will be used to complete study procedures as part of an awarded VA career development award; therefore, it is imperative to purchase this particular brand for the study. The following equipment/supplies will be purchased: ITEM INFORMATION ITEM NUMBER DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT 0001 NxStep Unweighing System STOCK NUMBER: 950485 2.00 EA This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any responsible sources who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this equipment or equipment that is compatible must notify this Contracting Specialist at Millicent.Covert@va.gov, NLT Friday, June 9, 2017, by noon EST. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
