- Statement Of Work N0017817Q0059 SF18 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N00178- 17-Q-0059 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a Sole Source basis University of Southern California (USC) System Safety Training QTY. 1, 9.5-day Course, for up to 35 students. The training shall be conducted at: University of Mary Washington, Dahlgren Campus, 4224 University Drive, King George, VA. 1. The University of Southern California (USC) provides classes that fulfill the NAVSEA requirement of training. The USC certificate program, offered on site, includes 3 required classes and 2 electives. USC has one of the most mature and experienced System Safety certificate programs available. The requested courses must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with courses already attended. Continuing to attend USC's SSC is the only way to ensure that all employees receive the same type of certification and training. The requested training from University of Southern California (USC) represents the minimum requirements of the Government. Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 14 June 2017, no later than 4:00 p.m. EST with an anticipated award date by 30 June 2017. All questions shall be submitted to the Government POC listed no later than 12 June 2017 at 12:00 p.m. EST to allow ample response time before the close of the bidding period.
