- Description: This is a synopsis for noncommercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most recent Federal Acquisition Circular. This action is being processed on an Unrestricted basis as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). NAICS Code: 334511. NUWC Division Newport intends to procure one hundred and forty (140) build-to-print DT-100 Staves in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 8192886PL. Required delivery is 6 months ARO at a rate of 40 units per month with all units delivered no later than 9 months after award. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. The anticipated release date of the solicitation N66604-17-Q-1976 is June 21, 2017. Additional details will be released upon issuance of the Request for Quote. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the Request for Quote. For additional information on this requirement, please contact Laina J. The Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price purchase order to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer represents the best overall value to the Government. The best overall value to the Government will be determined by comparing the difference in value of technical (non-price) features of quotes with the difference in the price to the Government. The solicitation and any subsequent amendment will be posted to the FEDBIZOPPS website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring this site for any amendments.
