- Draft Statement of Work THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR INVITATION FOR OFFERORS TO SUBMIT BIDS. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (Bureau), Central Office, Administration Division, Acquisitions Branch, National Acquisitions Section, located in Washington, DC anticipates issuance of solicitation for multiple award, firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract for Trunked Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system and maintenance. The equipment shall include radio frequency (RF) infrastructure equipment and subscriber radios. Services shall include, but are not limited to: project management, system engineering services, system design and staging, site preparation/development, fleetmapping and codeplug development, equipment installation and optimization, acceptance testing, system training, maintenance support, lifecycle management for new infrastructure projects, and providing training to technical staff on the systems listed in the attached draft statement-of-work (SOW). The contract shall consist of a Base Year and nine (9) 12 month option years. The solicitation is expected to be available on or about July 3, 2017. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached in this notice. SOW is a draft and may not be the one issued with the solicitation. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Government Point of Entry (GPE) Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Please note all contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) system. If you have questions about SAM, Government procurements in general, or need assistance in the preparation of your proposal, a local Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) may be able to help. The Procurement Technical Assistance Program was authorized by Congress in 1985 in an effort to expand the number of businesses capable of participating in the Government marketplace. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids equally with other organization for contracts for which they are eligible.
