- Statement of Work for Zygo System This Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information is being posted to satisfy the requirement under the Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement PGI 206.302-1(d). The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a sole source basis to Zygo Corporation for the following items which include installation and training as noted below and in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW): Qty Description Part Number 1 Dynafiz Interferometer - 6 IN, includes 1.2kx1.2k camera, 1X fixed magnification, ZYGO long-life HeNe laser source, Mx software, DynaPhase acquisition, Dell PC with Win10. 6550-0661-01 1 PMR option for DynaFiz - required to enable PSI and QPSI acquisition 6550-0147-93 1 Transmission Flat - 6 IN, 4% Reflectivity AR at 633nm 1550nm - 1/20, 1/20 Wave P-V 6024-0317-11 1 Reference Flat - 18 IN 90% reflectivity, lambda/15 PVr 6068-0458-01 1 18 IN 2-Axis Adjustable Mount 6068-0382-01 1 Transmission Flat - 6 IN DYNAFLECT Coated - 1/20 Wave, P-V 6024-0419-11 1 Self-Centering Element Holder (SCEH) - 6 IN, 3 finger adjustable part holder, mounts to 6 IN bayonet interface. 6500-0107-01 1 Adjustable Mount - 6 IN bayonet interface, tip & tilt adjustment, free standing 6500-0106-53 1 Wired 12-button remote option for Laser Interferometers 6500-0559-14 1 Installation & Commissioning by Zygo Service Engineer at US Navy (Dahlgren, VA) INSTALL-COMM 1 One Day Training and Applications Development by Zygo Applications Engineer at US Navy (Dahlgren, VA) TRAIN-APPS Under the authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, the government intends to issue a sole source contract to Zygo Corporation, Laurel Brook Rd, Middlefield, CT, 06455 as they are the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only vendor that can supply an Interferometer system that has three measurement modes required by NSWCDD and the Zygo Mx Software is approved in the Department of the Navy (DON) Application and Database Management System (DADMS) for the Dahlgren laboratory. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit their technical capabilities, which, if received no later than 3:00 PM (CDT) on 13 June 2017, shall be considered by NSWCDD. All responses must be submitted to the government point of contact at the email address shown below. Responses must be submitted in writing to the procurement specialist, Janelle Tempalski, via email at janelle.tempalski@navy.mil no later than the date and time noted above. Email should reference Sources Sought N00178-17-R-4019 in the subject line. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
