NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. INTRODUCTION This is a Request for Information/Sources Sought notice to solicit comments, questions and feedback from industry regarding hand tools produced in the USA for the Tool Control Program at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, NJ. Interested parties may submit technical literature/brochures on their US-made products or solutions that are equivalent to the tools listed in the below Parts List. Rough Order of Magnitude pricing is also requested for planning purposes. Any other relevant information may also be submitted for consideration, to aid in refinement of this requirement. THIS RFI IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible vendors capable of providing the required tools listed prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. ELIGIBILITY The PSC for this requirement is 5120, the NAICS is 332216 with a size standard of 750 employees. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond. REQUIREMENTS All interested parties are encouraged to respond. This Request for Information is to determine if the hand tools listed below can be produced in the USA. If an interested party can produce any/all of the hand tools listed below in the USA, the following information regarding the hand tool must be submitted: •· Confirmation the Country of Origin of the hand tool is USA •· An Image of the tool •· A description of how the tool is used If an interested party can substitute any/all of the hand tools in Attachment 1 for a form, fit, and function equivalent, the following information regarding the hand tool must be submitted: •· Confirmation the Country of Origin of the hand tool is USA •· An Image of the tool •· A description of how the tool is used •· A description of how this tool is a form, fit, function, replacement for the hand tool it is attempting to replace If an interested party can produce any/all of the hand tools listed below in a country other than the USA, the following information regarding the hand tool must be submitted: •· The Country of Origin of the hand tool •· An Image of the tool •· A description of how the tool is used SUBMITTAL INFORMATION In addition to providing the information requested under the "Requirements" paragraph, it is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to meet the requirements listed below. This documentation must address, at a minimum, the following: Company Name; Company Address; CAGE Code, Company Business Size; and Point-of-Contact (POC) name, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address. Company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue history, office location(s), DUNS number, and a statement regarding current small/large business status; Statement regarding capability. If you are a small business, provide an explanation of your company's ability to perform at least 50% of the tasking described in this SOW for the base period as well as the option periods.
