- Description
- Questions and Answers - FA8604-17-Q-5060 Q1: Do the device counsels and age ratings have to be exact each quarter? Video games are not released on a regular schedule. For example, most highly rated games are released around holidays, etc. Therefore it is near impossible to provide the exact rating/device specific titles each quarter. In the past when we serviced this contract, we used these as a guide with some quarters receiving more or less age-rated/device specific titles, but the annual total adding up to meet the requirement. Would Air Force accept this model? A1: Yes, we accept that ratings and device specific titles can vary each quarter. Q2: The numbers of titles each quarter are not clear. As the solicitation is written, it appears as though the LRC program would receive 18 titles per quarter. This would be enough for one LRC. It is my understanding that there will be at least five LRC's serviced. Can the Government clarify? A2: For the mature games plan at 6 games per quarter this would equal 24 games per year (figuring four quarters in a year) for 5 locations making a yearly total of 120. This would be 120 PlayStation games and 120 Xbox games per year. For the Teen rated games it would be 12 games per year for 5 locations making a total of 60 per year for the PlayStation and 60 per year for the Xbox. This a grand total of 360 games per year. Q3: As written, it isn't clear that the vendor is responsible for curation of titles. Can the Government add something to that effect? A3: Vendor may curate titles, new releases are requested.
