Description

This is a Sources Sought/Market Research synopsis. The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center Contracting Office is performing Market Research to ascertain whether there are potential sources and their business size classification (HUB-Zone, 8(a), Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business, Women Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, or Veteran Owned Business) relative to NAICS Code 333318 Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. The Medical Center is particularly interested in identifying Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and their capability. The Medical Center is seeking potential sources to provide a Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment System and Storage Tank with the following technical specifications for the Alexandria VA Health Care System located at Pineville, LA 71306. The government is seeking the following products: DESCRIPTION AmeriWater RO2 with high flow pump and 100-gallon tank [Adding the blend valve(partAW00HCS5001) Part# AW00HCS2052 Water blend valve for AmeriWater Systems Part# AW00HCS5001 AmeriWater ROS with standard pump [Adding the blend valve (partAW00HCS5001) Part# AW00HCS2045 Water blend valve for AmeriWater Systems Part# AW00HCS5001 Salient Characteristics for Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment System and Storage Tank 1. Must provide low conductivity RO water for washers, disinfectors and final rinses at the deep sink to meet VA and industry standards. 2. Must have pretreatment filters, deionizer polisher and a 55 Gallon storage tank with demand pump that provides up to 800 gallons per day. 3. Must include a water purification monitor with audible alarm, low feed pressure system shutdown with alarm and high conductivity alarm. 4. Must have an empty tank pump shutdown. 5. Must be compatible with the existing Steris Reliance, Model 444 Single-Chamber Washer-Disinfector. 6. Installation required Installation must be a certified Steris representative to ensure proper installation up to the Steris 44 Single Chamber Washer Disinfector. The installation must be connected at the correct outlet ensuring that the existing hot and cold water not affected. Due to space limitations in the Decontamination room. The configuring cannot exceed the 86 X 30 footprint. NOTE: This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. This is not a solicitation for quotes.
