Description

VA69D-17-F-4564 Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is procuring a manned mobile watch tower for the CAPT James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) in North Chicago, IL. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to award on a sole source basis, IAW 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, a contract to FLIR Detection, Inc. 1024 S Innovation Way, Stillwater, OK 74074 as the only responsible source to provide the above. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The applicable NAICS Code is 339113 and the size standard is 500 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers, and there is no solicitation available. All responses received by 3:00pm CST on 6/09/2017 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
