The Government intends to add-on to non commerical captains of industry contract SPE4AX-16-D-9473. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The acquistion is for supplies for which the Government does no possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to contract only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(I). Approved source: Lockheed Martin Corporation cage 52088. The intent of this Synopsis, in accordance with FAR 5.201, is to add the following NSNs onto the Government'se xisting contract with Lockheed Martin, SPE4AX-16-D-9473. The Government's market research suggests that Lockheed Martin is the sole approved source capable of manufacturing Spares/Hardware for the listed NSNs. SP4EX-16-D-9473 is a five (5) year Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract providing for the support of Depot Level Repairable (DLR) and consumable spare parts as well as repair and engineering services provided by Lockheed Martin that are associated with sole-source Lockheed Martin manufactured system components. The contract was awarded on 02 Aug 2016. The period of performance includes a five (5) year base period with five (5) year options. The contract maximum ceiling is $3.5B. The products described herein are products which the Government has determined to be acceptable.
