Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs-Veterans Health Administration through its Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract under the statutory authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition, as Authorized By Statue in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5 to Dunbar Mechanical Contractors. The requirement is for Design-Build services for the installation of two (2) GE CT s (Optima CT660 and Discovery CT750 HD). Dunbar Mechanical Contractors is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business who has demonstrated the capability to complete the requirements of this work within the time constraints provided. The Contracting Officer has determined Dunbar Mechanical Contractors to be a responsible source with respect to contract performance and in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer anticipates that the overall costs to the Government will be fair and reasonable. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price. NAICS Code 238290 is applicable to this requirement. The small business size standard is $15M. No Solicitation will be made available. This is not a request for competitive proposals. This Special Notice is for information purposes only to publicize the government s intent.
