Description

It is anticipated that the U.S. Government will award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for civil maritime vessels characteristics and performance data in support of the US Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). The U.S. Navy requires a daily automated, bulk data feed covering key aspects of the global civil maritime fleet. This XML formatted feed shall provide in-depth insight into characteristics and performance (C and P) data, to include, the capabilities, current operators, owners and managers of all known non-military vessels greater than or equal to 100 Gross Registered Tons (GRT) in the world ™s inventory to include vessels in commercial international trade, domestic trade, government own civilian crewed, offshore support, harbor support, nontraditional (i.e., Drill ships, semi-submersible, and non-displacement vessels), and fishing vessels. In addition, the ONI requires online access to the Offerors database to check and verify the data feed along with the ability to pose questions directly to the data provider about their data.
