- P17PS01601 NPS Klondike National Historical Park - Installation of Water Main, Project Number 218102 SUBJECT: Sources Sought. The National Park Service (NPS) Klondike National Historical Park (KLGO) has a requirement for installation of a water main, upgrading the existing water service. This service line will be used for fire protection and domestic water use. NPS, Alaska Regional Office, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price construction contract to the City of Skagway (DUNS # 002194512), 7th & Spring P.O. Box 415, Skagway, Alaska, 99840. The City of Skagway (COS) owns and operates the water line infrastructure in the City and Municipality of Skagway, Alaska, and cannot be accessed or modified by unauthorized contractors or parties. COS to provide all tubing from the main, all valves and necessary fittings, labor for jacking, boring, excavating, backfilling, resurfacing, permits, and all other necessary work between the COS Municipality water main and the property line at NPS residential building. The estimated magnitude of this project is less than $10,000. NAICS classification code: 237110 and PSC: Y1NE. The business size standard is $36.5 million US dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes, proposals, or bids. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Standard Daylight Time (ADT), June 19, 2017 by sending an e-mail to rebecca_graham@nps.gov; however, any technical data received will be for the sole purpose of market research for future requirements.
