Description
Construction Project: McNary Dam Parking at Top-of-Dam. This will be a firm fixed-price construction contract located at McNary Lock and Dam, Umatilla County, Oregon and Benton County, Washington. Estimated construction magnitude is between $75,000 and $250,000. Performance and payment bonds will be required. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work for this project consists of constructing 12 new perpendicular parking stalls along the south shore access of road, outside the secondary security gate at the edge of the powerhouse. Create space at road grade by excavating to remove the berm. Total length will be approximately 120 feet to accommodate parking stalls with small safety areas at each end. Stalls will be 9 ½ feet to 10 feet wide, 20 to 22 feet in length. Stalls will have wheel stops and paved areas will be striped white, and safety areas will be hatched with yellow. The work will include the following: • Berm removal • Excavation for barrier wall foundation • Placement of leveling pad using crushed rock • Placement of barrier blocks • Sawcut of existing roadway pavement • Asphalt • Painting stripes • Place wheel stops All on-site work shall be performed in accordance with the Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1). Solicitation Number W912EF-17-Q-0066 is a Request for Quotes and will be posted to the FedBizOpps (FBO) website approximately the end of June 12, 2017. The quotes will be due on or before June 28, 2017. The information will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. A site visit will be offered June 21, 2017 at 1:00 pm. See solicitation for details about the site visit. Only ONE site visit will be offered. Such documentation may include a US passport, Certificate of US citizenship (INS Form N-560 or N-561), Certificate of Naturalization (INS Form N-550 or N-570), foreign passport with I-551 stamp or attached INS Form I-94 indicating employment authorization, Alien Registration Receipt Card with photograph (INS Form I-151 or I-551), Temporary Resident Card (INS Form I-688), Employment Authorization Card (INS Form I-688A), Reentry Permit (INS Form I-327), Refugee Travel Document (INS Form I-571), Employment Authorization Document issued by the INS which contains a photograph (INS Form I-688B).
