- Title: MRSN/WRAIR; MALDI Biotyper System Maintenance Services Solicitation: W81XWH-17-T-0283 Notice Type: Sources Sought Response Date: 23 June 2017 Classification Code: J- Maintenance, Repair and rebuilding of equipment NAICS: 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance Objectives: The overall objective of this requirement is to acquire a non-personal services contract for preventive maintenance (PM) services for three instruments (a) MBT Galaxy, (b) Biotyper and (c) Smart Biotyper. The Biotyper and Smart Biotyper, items b and c are, henceforth, referred to as the Maldi Biotyper System. Synopsis: The Government requires support to acquire the services of a preventative maintenance (PM) contract. The agreement will include and not limited to a maintenance service agreement for MALDI Biotyper System (Biotyper and Smart Biotyper) and MBT Galaxy for required PM visits on-site. The scope of this requirement includes all preventative maintenance (PM) services for a MALDI Biotyper System (Biotyper and Smart Biotyper) and MBT Galaxy. The preventative maintenance service is required to minimize equipment downtime; a failure of equipment could negatively impact critical mission. The contractor shall conduct one key task with the quality and specifications described in the PWS and QASP. The contractor shall provide quality preventative maintenance services to three instruments, namely (a) the Bruker Biotyper, (b) the Smart Biotyper, and (3) the MBT Galaxy. The contractor shall provide periodic site visits to provide comprehensive maintenance to the three instruments. Services shall be provided at the locations specified in section 3.1, and according to the performance targets and standards specified in the QASP. The contractor shall conduct additional on-site visits from Monday thru Friday and 24 business hours on-site after diagnosis. The contractor shall provide data system coverage (PC, monitor, printer), as well as a depot unit for next day shipping of replacement equipment in the event of a four-day period of downtime. Additionally, the contractor shall provide a 1-800 Hotline for appointments/technical service support during normal business hours from 8AM to 5PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) from Monday thru Friday. The contractor shall also provide a technical support hotline outside of normal business hours (e.g., 5PM-12AM EST weekdays, 9AM -9PM EST on weekends excluding holidays. RFI INSTRUCTIONS: Interested parties are asked to respond to this RFI and submit a capabilities statement that supports the focus of this RFI. Please review the place of performance requirements. Please submit written responses via email in Microsoft Office 2000 or 2007 format. All responses should be complete: in 12-point font; and not to exceed 5 pages total, including graphics, tables, and appendices. No hardcopies shall be accepted. No written solicitation document is available at this time. Telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list shall be maintained.
