- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is N0016717Q0043. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR Circular 2005-95. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334310 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. FOB destination shall be Bethesda, MD 20817. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to award the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis under the authority implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 13.106-1(b). All responding vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm The set-aside for this requirement has been dissolved. Offerors shall quote a DELIVERED price. The Government intends to award this on a brand name basis. All interested parties must submit a brand name quote no later than 6:00 pm Eastern Standard time 14 June 2017. The Government will consider quotes from all responsible sources with the capability to provide the Brand Name products cited. Vendor must be an authorized distributor. Items must be covered under the Manufacturer's Warranty; used or refurbished items will not be accepted. Interested offerors must submit questions via email at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Response date is 14 June 2017 at 06:00 pm (18:00 hours) Eastern Standard Time.
