Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this action. No written solicitation will be issued. The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (CC) intends to award a Firm-Fixed price contract to Miltenyi Biotec, Inc, Auburn, CA 95602 on a sole source basis to procure various reagents and supplies utilized by the Miltenyi Biotec CliniMACS® System to process approximately 100 cellular therapy products per year by the DTM/ Cellular Therapy Laboratory on the NIH campus for patient care. Miltenyi Biotec, Inc is the only known vendor that can supply the various reagents and supplies used for specific cell population enrichment to achieve a high purity and recovery of the cells of interest and/or a high log depletion of the cells to be removed from the product performed on the Miltenyi instrument, the Miltenyi Biotec CliniMACS® System. The comprehensive system of the instrument and reagents are necessary to produce complete testing results, without the "PROPRIETARY" reagents patients in the Clinical Center cannot receive the cell therapy care necessary for their treatment per protocols at NIH. Any deviation from the protocol must be reported to the FDA for non-compliance. DTM/ Cellular Therapy Laboratory will telephone or e-mailed request for reagents and supplies on a needed basis. This will be a firm fixed price contract with the intent is to award a five year contract consisting of one base year and four options years. Please ensure a total is calculated for each period of performance in the appropriate columns titled: 1. Base Year x Estimated Volume 2. Option Period 1 x Estimated Volume 3. Option Period 2 x Estimated Volume 4. Option Period 3 x Estimated Volume 5. Option Period 4 x Estimated Volume The estimated product list can be found on page 2 of Attachment 1 - Statement of Work. The exact quantity of products cannot be estimated at the time of award. The government reserves the right to increase quantities pursuant to FAR 52.217-6, Option to Extend Services FAR 52.217-8 and Option to Extend the Term of the Contract FAR 52.217-9. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i) soliciting from a single source. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325414 with a large business size standard of 1,250 employees. This procurement is unrestricted and all eligible offerors are encouraged to submit quotes. All offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award of a federal contract registered in the record must be complete and not missing elements such as representations and certifications. Each response should include the following Business Information: a. DUNS number and tax identification number. b. Company Name, address, POC, Phone and Email address c. Current GSA Schedules or NAICS codes appropriate to this Award.
