Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to solicit on a sole source basis to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Carleton Life Support Systems Doing Business As: COBHAM Mission System, Davenport, IA. The anticipated Contract is for the repair of the following: one (1) Oxygen Test Sets NSN: 4920-01-422-8691; one (1) Concentrator Test Sets NSN: 4920-01-429-8089; one (1) 02N2 Concentrator Test Sets NSN: 4920-01-567-6503; and one (1) Concentrator Test Sets NSN: 4920-01-442-1810, in support of the Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) Aviation Support Equipment (ASE) Program. The Government intends to negotiate this procurement under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
