Description

Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Activity-8, in support of Veterans Integrated Service Network 8 (VISN-8) intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award under Request for Quotation number VA248-17-Q-0783 with Siemens Medical Solutions USA, INC. a Large Business to provide High Tech Medical Equipment Siemens brand repair services. This procurement is a sole source award in accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.501, Special Documentation Requirements. The authority for applying the Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. 1901 and is implemented by for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The Government intends to award a fixed price contract in accordance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation. The NAICS code is assigned to this acquisition is 811219 and the size standard is $20.5M. The contract performance period: June 1, 2017 May 31, 2018
