NOTICE OF AWARD June 8, 2017 Siemens Medical Solutions USA, INC 40 Liberty Blvd Malvern PA, 19355 Subject: Award of High Tech Medical Equipment Siemens brand repair services This letter confirms selection for award of the subject Blanket Purchase Agreement VA248-17-A-0007 to Siemens Medical Solutions USA, INC. a Large Business using non-competitive negotiated procedures in accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.501, Special Documentation Requirements. The authority for applying the Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. 1901 and is implemented by for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). This interim agreement will continue to service patients uninterruptedly of the Veteran s Integrated Service Network (VISN) -8. During this time, the government will work to procure a competitive long-term contract for repair of Siemens Branded High Tech Medical Equipment. Total estimated award value $700,000.00 for a period of one (12) month. Period of Performance: June 1, 2017 May 31, 2018
