- This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought publication only. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Please do not submit a proposal in response to this notice. This notice is to assist the VA in the determination of sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN is seeking potential Contractors capable of removing the proprietary HVAC control system currently in place on the Surgery HVAC system for the accomplishment of Integrate Surgery HVAC Controls at 1481 W, Tenth Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. Construction services to be provided include: Work includes mechanical construction, electrical, programming, necessary removal of existing equipment, configuration into existing building automation system and testing of new control system and certain other items as listed below for computerized building controls equipment. Remove existing LON controllers and replace with JCI Bacnet controllers Furnish and install new display devices Reuse existing devices and wiring for the following in 10 surgery operatorys and 31 support rooms: Hot water reheat valve Discharge air temperature sensor Supply and exhaust box dampeners/feedback sensors (13 support rooms are supply only) Power and communications Furnish and install new room temp sensors and associated wiring to hardwire each sensor back to controller device, eliminating current daisy-chain network. Responses to this Sources Sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions and developing a potential procurement strategy. After review of responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the FedBizOpps website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond directly to any corresponding solicitation by submitting a proposal.
