- Brand Name Justification This notice is issued by the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), Portland District, as an avenue to provide a Request for Quote (RFQ) for W9127N-17-Q-0048. This is a name brand combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This procurement will be Full and Open Competition. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334412, with a size standard of 750 employees. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, effective 13 January 2017. This RFQ has one contract line number for the purchase of a new or refurbished general Electric (GE) Winch Brake Circuit board, for us on a GF2000 135HP/500V DC Drive; OEM part # DS200SBCBG1ADC; unit of issue: each; quantity: 1; for delivery to the dredge ESSAYONS. Offerer's shall include transportation in the pricing. The basis of award will be based on lowest price, responsible, and responsive quote. This is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Clause 52.212- 2, Evaluation- Commercial Items, and FAR 9.104. The Government has a right to reject any and all offers. To be considered, all potential Offeror's shall provide proof of certification from the OEM, GE, for repair and distribution of the winch board, or authorization as a repairing agent of GE. Delivery address is: US Moorings, 8010 NW St. Helens Road, Portland OR, 97210, on 03 July 2017.
