Page 1 of 1 SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon,, PA 17042, is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources to provide Sharps removal services at the Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh Health System (VAPHS), both University Drive Campus and the H.J. Heinz Campus. This announcement is issued for informational planning purposes only and is not a request for proposal or announcement of a solicitation. Submitting information for this announcement is voluntary and participants will not be compensated. The purpose of this market research is to identify capable sources of providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to perform Sharps removal services. The scope of work will include installation, provision and service of OSHA approved Sharps containers. All employees performing services must be trained IAW with OSHA standards regarding blood borne pathogens. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 562112 and the small business size standard is $38.5 million. Capabilities Statement and Documentation: Firms/Companies are invited to provide their capabilities, experience and knowledge in the provision of Sharps removal services. Sources are asked to provide information to demonstrate their answers to the following items of information: Company Name, Address, Website, POC, and POC Phone Number. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 562112 and the small business size standard is $38.5 million for this type of effort. Based on this information, please indicate whether your company would be a Large or Small Business, and whether company is a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Business and registered in VIP. Provide a summary of your firm s ability to meet the services described in this announcement and containers that would be available for use to meet this requirement.
