- •1. SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR Air Force Safety Center Systems Safety Course •A. INTRODUCTION •1. This is a Sources Sought synopsis being conducted pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research. This is for planning purposes only and there is no solicitation available at this time. •2. This is an initial step in the planning process for the delivery of a lapping machine. The Government is contemplating award of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. •3. The 377 MSG/Contracting Division at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, seeks potential sources To provide the design, development and deliver Systems Safety training to include FOB-Destination shipping to Kirtland AFB, NM 87117. •4. Delivery Date: Preferred 45 Day After Receipt of Offer (ARO). •5. The North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 813920, Professional Organizations, which has a small business size standard of $15.M. •B. INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS: •1. All businesses capable of providing this product are invited to respond. Any information provided to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary and the Government will not pay for any information submitted. Respondents are requested to submit capability packages electronically, as described below. •a. Requested information listed below must be received no later than 1100 hours (Mountain Standard Time ) on 14 June 2017. •b. Information package responses shall be sent via email to virginia.garcia.1@us.af.mil and brenda.hamilton@us.af.mil. •c. Information Package: Respondents must include the following information •1. SALINE CHARATERISTIC: 1. Design and develop IACET accredited CEU-awarding Systems Safety training. 2. Systems Safety training curriculum to include the following topics: a. Introduction to System Safety b. System Safety Standards and Compliance c. The System Safety Process d. System Safety Analysis Techniques •· Introduction to Mishap and Hazard Analysis •· Performing the Hazard Analysis •· Functional Hazard Analysis •· Safety Requirements Analysis •· Failure Modes, Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) •· Fault Tree Analysis •· System Safety project Planning and Management e. The Safety Case - Residual Safety Risk Acceptance f. Software Safety Engineering Process 3. Provide qualified instructor(s) 4. Present Systems Safety training curriculum on-site 5. Provide all training materials 6. Maximum class size: 40 attendees 7. Course length: 3 days 8. Date of training: must be completed no later than 30 September 2017. Coordination of exact training dates shall be accomplished by contractor and AFSEC POC, David White 9. Provide course completion certificates 10.
