Description

CDRL A001 Solicitation- W56HZV17R0098 Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to award a contract to General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products of Marion, VA, to provide a quantity of 31 Army Single Family (ASF) ISO Shelters with wall panel ship sets, which are necessary to support weapon repair missions for the Armament Repair Shop Set (ARSS) program. This follow-on contract will mitigate the high probability of the program experiencing a major break in production, which would result in the ARSS program failing to meet the required fielding of systems. The ARSS are critical to support weapon repair missions within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). This contract shall fulfil the immediate need for ARSS shelters until a new, competitive contract can be awarded. The NAICS code for the solicitation is 624221 and the PSC is 5411. The combined estimated contract value $6,520,000.00. The award of the contract(s) is estimated on/about 30 August 2017.
